3 days

So i have 3 days until i take a train from Genoa to Rome, Spend the night in Rome crying and saying bye to everyone and then fly to Hong Kong and then Home!
I will be back in Australia on Monday.
I am so so excited but so sad to leave at the same time.
i cannot wait to see my family and friends and my dogs and my house haha
But i feel like i am leaving a huge part of myself here in Italy as i leave to!

I cannot say enough how thankful i am for this experience and how much i have learnt whilst i have been here!

It’s amazing and i would recommend exchange to anyone of my friends!

I remember I was a little rabbit ‘cause that’s the only costume I fit into. And Sugar Plum Fairy dropped a weed or something and I thought, “What would a rabbit do?” So I hopped out there, put it in my mouth, hopped back, and the audience applauded. And I was like, “I will be a performer forever.

Campo Finale

Just posted a video of myself with Emma and Kai from America and Danni from Denmark performing our little number at the Talent Show for our final AFS Intercultura Camp in Torino last week! :)

It was a lot of fun and just for a laugh! haha :)

WOW! :)

So sounted today and realised i have

29 DAYS LEFT!!

That’s just scary!

I cannot believe how fast this has gone, it feels like just yesterday i arrived and was counting down the days as if they would never come.

Now they are passing way to fast and i am not ready to go home yet.

I am going to miss all of the people i have met here and my family and the food and everything that is ITALY!

I don’t know how i am going to say goodbye to it all in 29 short days!

My Family from Australia came and visited me for my 18th Birthday and it was truly the best birthday present ever. Having my mum, my dad and my sister there to surprise me made me SO HAPPY! :):)

i have missed them so much since i have been here and seeing them made me realise that it really is going to be like no time has passed when i return home!

I can’t wait to see my friends and family in Australia, but i just can’t break out of the feeling that i may never see some of these people i have become so close to over the past 6 months ever again! Just makes me feel as though Australia can wait!

but i know that as soon as i get on that plane i will keep in touch with everyone i have met here in Italy and that i will be SO happy to see my friends in Oz! :)

SO tonight i am having a party with all my school friends, family and fellow AFS students from in and around Genoa and i am really excited! I can’t wait to celebrate with them!

I finish school this wednesday which will be sad but nice at the same time. I have met some of my really close friends at school here and hope that i see them just as much over summer holidays before i go home.

Anyway that is all for now.

WOW!!!

1 month, 3 weeks and 3 days!

That is 55 days left of an adventure i set out on around 110 days ago!

How can that much time have passed.

I cannot begin to describe how much i have learnt whilst i have been here, how much i have changed (for the better i hope), how thankful i am for the opportunity and god how much i am going to miss everyone here when i leave!!!

I cannot believe that at 17 days short of being 18 years old i have experienced what some people dream of their entire life!

I have a family that loves me in 2 countries and friends from all over the world! Hopefully friendships that will continue past the day i leave here.

I am the luckiest girl in the world because even when i leave here i will be taking so much more home with me than i ever imagined…

I miss my family so much and all of my friends to. The time away from them but has helped me realise how much i take some of them for granted and how lucky i am to have them! I love you all so so much :)
